Wendy began taking ballet, jazz and tap classes at the age of ten. In high school, Wendy was a member of the nationally ranked Napa High Spiritleader Dance Team for all four years. She was the captain of her JV and Varsity teams. Wendy also spent four years dancing for the Napa High Jazz program where she served as the Vice President her Junior year and the President her Senior year. Wendy graduated from high school in 2000 and was accepted into the summer program at the California Summer School of the Arts in Valencia . Wendy continued her training at the Lisa Clark's Dance Direction studio in Suisun, where she was a member of the competitive dance company. While at Lisa Clark's Dance Direction, she taught intermediate and advanced level jazz classes. Wendy was the Assistant coach for the Napa High Dance Team for three years and was selected to be an instructor for NDA in 2001. Wendy is currently a student at California State University, Sacramento studying Health Science and Dance. Wendy is our Competition and Performance Troupe Jazz and Lyrical instructor, and our dancers have won many awards under her direction, including Special Judge recognition, category, and high score winner awards.
