Foothills Dance Studio has competitive dance teams and performance dance teams, known collectively as our Troupe. Interested dancers age 6 and older can audition in the spring for a place on one of our teams. Once selected, dance team members are cast in dance routines based on technical ability and the artistic vision of the choreographer. We attend conventions and competitions throughout northern California such as Co Dance, Hollywood Connection, Nuvo, Spotlight Events, Celebrity Dance Competitions, Rainbow Connection and Starbound.

Troupe Dancers have the opportunity to experience personal growth, develop lasting friendships and experience the thrill of competition and performance. In addition, team dancers gain valuable dance training from master dance instructors from New York and Los Angeles as well as some of the best professional choreographers currently working in the dance industry. In addition to conventions and competitions, our team dancers have performed at Disneyland, the El Dorado County Fair, Arco Arena and in the community upon request.
